Galaxy A51: One UI 4.1 (Android 12) update

It's about time again and Samsung has released the major update which brings Android 12 and One UI 4.1 (nice surprise!).

Pros

- More customization options (color palettes)

- Privacy indicator on top-right (indicating the app is using camera and/or microphone)

- Smoother than previous version of One UI/Android

Cons

- No Smart Widgets and Extra dim feature (part of One UI 4.1; not all Galaxy devices such as Galaxy A51 will get the feature)

Overall, it's a nice update that's being offered by Samsung. We can expect one more major Android OS upgrade as this phone supports 3 years of OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates. Way to go, Samsung!

About the firmware

Like the previous version of One UI 3.0, I've flashed Vietnam firmware through Frija which works really well.

Not yet, It's available  on Russia, UAE, and Vietnam right now. They will expand the update after 7 days. so we will get the update on early april.

When will android 12 (One UI 4.1) be available for A51 here in the Philippines? Did anybody else receive (over-the-air) the update already? Not the flashed software version from either Vietnam or Singapore BUT here locally in the Philippines. Anyone has the date though?

Keep us updated ok? At least on your end there, you have it already (as I see from your posts). Hope the update won't get pushed towards May or June 2022. Here in the Phils, it's gonna be a tough one. We may never get it, we may get sidecrossed over date issues. I oblige not.

I'm from philippines too. But changed firmwares. Samsung is full of surprises. We might get it on late april. My guess only. It takes too long
