Galaxy A54 Support for WIFI Calling on Dito Telecom Provider in the Philippines

After the last update of May 2023, finally Samsung A54 supports 5G signal of Dito telc but wifi calling is still not showing it while on other telco namely: Globe and Smart it shows wifi calling icon. When I insert my Dito sim on another brand , wifi calling works. Is there an update for this?

Based on this list of compatible phones by DITO, the A54 is still not supported: COMPATIBLE BA TAYO? List of DITO-Compatible Phones

I'm guessing they haven't updated their list of devices yet to include this year's A54 5G?

I see.. although 5G signal appeared last friday after the update.maybe an update from samsung also is needed for wifi calling to work

Thanks for letting us know your experience with the recent updates on your Samsung Galaxy A54 having solved the issues of 5G signal of Dito Telco but Wi-Fi calling is still not showing up.

Before you try out the below recommendations as to your solution, be sure to check if your device's software is updated with the latest version. Please check how to update your mobile device's software in the following order. 

Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.

Step 2. Tap on Download and install

Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

 

If that doesn't fix the problem, you may submit an error report through the Samsung Members app as follows:

 

Step 1. Long press Samsung Members icon on Apps screen and tap Error reports.

Step 2. Tap OK on agreement popup to send system log data.

Step 3. Select Symptom category "Networking/Wi-Fi" and "Call/Message".

Step 4. Describe the problem in details and SEND.

If the issue persists, you may bring your device to the nearest Samsung Authorized Service Center in your area. Rest assured that your device will undergo an assessment to pinpoint the root cause of the issue. They may guide you and offer solutions to restore it.

sadly VoWifi is not avail in samsung

only in xiaomi /realme phone
common dito add up samsung

Well samsung a54 has vowifi but only for Gloe and Smart telecom in the Philippines

yes dito restricts it unless they open arms samsung devices

Thats sad but hopefully this will be rectified soon as there are some areas where signal is low and wifi calling is needed
