Galaxy A72 specifications and renders have leaked several times already and we now have some more courtesy of a report by WinFuture. The phone is expected to launch in the coming weeks and is said to be available in both 4G and 5G options. Earlier this month, the official support page for the smartphone went online on Samsung's Caribbean and Latin America websites. We've already seen the front design of the phone, and the latest press shots reveal the rear design. The Samsung Galaxy A72 takes design cues from the Galaxy S21 series, including the camera module. Let's take a look at the new press shots and go through the spec sheet once again ahead of the launch.

It's already known that the Samsung Galaxy A72 is going to be a mid-range smartphone with the Snapdragon 720G or the Snapdragon 750G at its heart. The SD720G variant will offer 4G connectivity and will be offered at a lower price when compared to the SD750G variant with 5G. The latest Galaxy A72 specifications are courtesy of WinFuture, and here's what is confirmed. The phone will come with a flat hole-punch display, 6.7-inch in real-estate, to be precise, and offer FHD+ resolution with a 90Hz refresh rate. It will get a 32-megapixel selfie shooter housed inside the hole-punch cutout.
The Samsung Galaxy A72 will come with a quad-rear camera setup and a rectangular module that looks similar to the Galaxy S21. It will comprise a 64-megapixel main shooter, a 12-megapixel ultrawide, an 8-megapixel telephoto, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. A 5,000mAh battery will be housed inside the phone, and it will get 25W fast charging support. As for RAM and storage configurations, the device will get 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage options. The smartphone will come with One UI 3.0 based on Android 11. While WinFuture only talks about the Snapdragon 720G chipset, there have been reports that Samsung will also launch a variant with the Snapdragon 750G and 5G connectivity. Guess we'll have to wait to find out.
