Galaxy ABefore you try out below recommendations as to your solutions, be sure to check if your device's software and related apps are updated with latest version. To do so,
1. Go to Settings > Software update.
2. Tap on Download and install.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Here are several fixes you can try if your camera isn't responding.
Restarting the device is often the quickest and easiest way to resolve software issues.
1. Hold down the Volume Down Key and the Power Button simultaneously for 7 seconds.
2. Your device will restart and display the Samsung logo.
Second, wipe your Camera App's data and cache. To do this, go to Settings > Apps > Camera > Storage > Clear Cache and Clear Data. Open your camera app and see if it's working. Continue to the next part if problem still persist.
Please run the Diagnostics in Samsung Members App and see if your camera is working.

Booting your smartphone in safe mode is also another option. Safe mode is like a diagnostic tool to help identify the problems on your device.
1. Turn off your device then power on.
2. When the Samsung logo appears by itself, press and hold the Volume down key.
3. The device will switch on in Safe mode. Safe mode will be displayed on the bottom left of the screen.
If the issue is gone in Safe mode: One of your recently downloaded apps was likely the cause of the problem. To exit safe mode, restart your device.
If your camera problem is still not resolved after doing these solutions, I suggest you call the hotline #GALAXY to voice out your concerns, then have your phone checked and repaired at the nearest Service Center near you.
