Go to your up drawer and long press any app you want to be added on your home screen.
Then drop the app from anywhere you want on the home screen.
If you can't add it to your home screen because it says your home screen is locked,
Tap the *settings* link before it disappears from your app drawer.
You can also go back to home screen, and then long press on the blank space to go to the home screen settings, and unlock home screen layout.
