I wonder what's app bug or Samsung bug

Samsung a52s  model.  I was shock WhatsApp was 41GB storage.  I wonder if what's app bug or Samsung bug ?

The culprit is the data. Rightfully, WhatsApp data usage shouldn't be so high by default. Mine is only about 780 MB. Something is not right but it's hard to tell if it's a WhatsApp or Samsung or Android bug. Be sure to always update WhatsApp to the latest version.
For now, one option is to try delete it, though hope u won't encountered unable to delete data bug. Be sure to do a WhatsApp Chat backup first, or else you can leave as it is if u don't encounter phone storage issue.

I will backup what's app data and clear the app data and check

try to clear the voice messages n those unnecessary files based on the steps within this comment section
