I think that it's better if Samsung will recreate its previous design from its old models. Like, the original icons and everything because it is part of its identity as a top brand in the android world.
Great idea! I do miss the look of older android versions. While that's not yet a feature, I have found that there are launchers with themes that can mimic the look of -- well, pretty much any version of Android you want!
