Galaxy AHi Samsung Support,
I’m experiencing a persistent issue with my Samsung A35. My microphone works when recording videos or using the voice recorder app, but voice messages don't work in messaging apps like WeChat, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram.
Here’s what I’ve already tried:
- Updated all apps and system software
- Checked and allowed microphone permissions for all affected apps
- Cleared cache and data for the apps
- Restarted the device multiple times
- Tested the microphone (it works with video/audio recording)
- Booted in Safe Mode (problem persists)
- Disabled/uninstalled all third-party apps that might interfere
- Tried using a Bluetooth headset (voice messages still don’t work)
Despite all of these steps, the problem remains. It seems like a deeper system-level issue or a potential software bug affecting microphone input in third-party apps.
Please let me know what else I can try, or if this requires a service check or software patch.
