Outdated Security Patch Issue

Hey Samsung or any Samsung developers out there that can see my post. I've encountered an issue for a while now that my Galaxy is still running the outdated Security Patch level of February 5, 2025 while other Galaxy Phones are already on April.

Because of this, there's a chance that my Galaxy can be vulnerable to something unexpected and unethical when a Security flaw or any possible cyber attack happens.

I truly hope and expect that Samsung would take this seriously and make my Galaxy have the new Security Patch level by the of the month.

Your device will have a quarterly software update just like mine. I own a Galaxy A73 5g and still in February 5, 2026 Software Update. And, maybe we will receive a latest Security Patch together with One UI 8.5 possible by June.

First of all, can u reveal ur software version? (So I can find out the model, then the current version, and finally compare it to a software-seeking app which I use in tracking for builds.)

Yeah, I sorry to say this, but I think it's on a regular "quarterly" update schedule. But don't worry, it's not gonna lose support that quickly, it will last around 2028, and still receives major updates by late 2027. (Since I looked in how it receives updates.)

maybe because the A15 is in the quarterly security update
