does anyone have experienced here having pixelated wallpaper on the lockscreen? I've recently updated my a51 to one ui 3.0 and im having problems with this, it looks terrible, is this a bug? i don't have any screnshots because whenever i take them and looked at them at the gallery, they're completely fine. I'm desperate for this to be fixed.
i think it brings down the resolution of the image when it's dark or it kinda boosts the contrast of the image to lessen ete strain when its dark... this happened to me in the last one ui update
update: i think using the in-display fingerprint is the culprit because when i turned it off in the settings, it goes back to normal just like on my homescreen which **bleep**. i don't want to resort to this because i heavily use it to unlock my phone plus it is a main feature on the a51 so it kinda defeats the purpose. i hope they fix it on an update
update: woah i do think now it is a bug on the new update. I've seen it completely fine right now, what is happening??? does the lockscreen have some sort of auto brightness feature where when its dark it boosts the wallpaper making it pixelated, i'm currently using it on the daylight and it looks fine right now. i totally have no idea what is happening right now, it looks pixelated a while ago then it looks fine right now. welp!
yeah I'm using the in display too... maybe that it... because it darkens the screen except for the area where you scan your finger... that area gets even brighter when you put your finger in it... it was not consistent in mine tho it only happens when I'm in dark places...
such a bummer. i really like using it to unlock everything but it makes the phone look cheap like come on, it has a fhd+ screen then the lockscreen wallpaper looks crappy. i hope they fix it someday or have a workaround on it because i really like using the in-display and it is really weird to disable a selling feature.
yeah i know... but you'll get used to it... I remember before when I first noticed this I literally edited the photo of my lockscreen and bumped up the brightness and lessened the contrast just to compensate with the screen's adjustments... it was a long trial and error 🤣
