Protect battery issue

So I set one of my routines to turn on protect battery settings. But for the past two charging sessions, even if I made sure it was turned on, the charging continues and when I checked the routine it was already turned off.

Anybody experiencing this issue?

Im confused, no need for a routine to activate protect battery. That can be toggled on directly in battery settings.

I do it so i can turn it on in my home screen widgets instead of the actual settings

You're making things complicated, just toggled it on battery settings, then find out if it will work. Modes and routines are used to simplify actions not to complicate.

I wish you would just focus on solutions instead of offering strawman statements 😭 having that routine simplifies things for me lol.

what are you trying to do?
in my case, I leave the protect battery on so the charging used to stop at 85% with OneUI 5.1, but now it stops at 80% with OneUI 6.1.
I don't change to 100%.


are you trying to make a switch using a manual routine?
how's your routine and protect battery set up?
