I have a Galaxy a71 and I noticed that when it comes to my reading apps, the display takes on this yellowish color. It makes it really uncomfortable for meto read.

I have my eye comfort shield off. So, this is really vexing.

Is there a way to change this?

Hi Axlren! If you're sure your Eye Comfort Shield is off, maybe this is a setting in your reading apps? If you've checked, though, and it really isn't an app issue, you can go ahead and run your phone in Safe Mode. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Turn off your phone, then turn it back on
  2. When the Samsung logo shows up, press and hold the Volume Down button
  3. Your phone should now be in Safe Mode; you can clarify this if you see "Safe Mode" on the bottom left of your screen

If the issue is not there in Safe Mode, this is most likely caused by bugs from your recently downloaded apps. You can check which one by manually deleting new apps until the issue is resolved.

Let me know how it goes and happy reading! 🤓

Hello! I've tried it out, but there wasn't much change. I did notice that when I don't use the "vivid" mode on display, the ebook reading apps color remains the same.

Thank you for your help.

It might be due to your reading app's settings. Have you tinkered with the settings yet?

I have tinkered with the settings on the apps itself.

I also found out that it has something to do with the "vivid" mode on the display settings. There was one reading app I have that wasn't affected. I just wished it worked on all of them.
