Good day! I've noticed that the battery level of my Samsung is decreasing even when it's not in use while I'm sleeping. Do you have any solutions or troubleshooting steps that I can try? Thank you very much!

Go to device healthcare: under battery, go to background usage limits and turn on "put unused apps to sleep"
Remove all apps under "never auto sleeping apps"
(Unless for the priority apps like gmail, messenger, authenticator, etc.)
Set battery protection to adaptive.
Under home or app drawer, press and hold an app you use or you think consumes more battery. Go to app info, under battery, set it to restricted.

Or the more complicated route, go to modes and routines. Find sleep mode, under sleep mode, go to "turn on automatically," set your sleep time from when you go to sleep until you wake up. Under "other actions," add network: such as mobile data, wifi, bluetooth (set to OFF), and then press done.
Optional:
Airplane mode
Grayscale
Auto brightness
Battery saver
So, every time you sleep, the phone also turns off anything unnecessary. Hope this helps

Good day. I followed what you said, but my cellphone battery is still draining while I'm sleeping, even though the cellphone battery is fine. I just don't understand why it's draining while I'm sleeping. It's only been 2 months, but it seems like something is broken. 😔😔😔

My cellphone battery is good, and when I wake up, I check my settings, and there are apps that are using battery while I sleep, but there are none. 1746570827048.jpg

Good day.
How much % does it drain?
How long do you use it?
What's your room's ambient temp?
How many 3rd party apps have you loaded?
Have you removed the preinstalled apps?
(Go to settings, scroll down, and you'll see apps. From there, you can remove some preinstalled junk, including those games)
Is app protection turned on?
Does it heat up when charging?
Do you use it while charging?
Do you charge it to 100%?
Do you drain it to 0%?
Is scanning turned on?
(Go to settings, search for scanning, you'll see 3: bt, wifi and device, under those, turn them all off)
Is location turned on?
Is fast charging turned on?
(Go to device care, under battery, scroll down, look for charging settings)
Do you use cellular data?
(Yes, it heats the device more compared to wifi, draining more battery)
Normally, it should be 1-5% when idle, but if it goes past 6-10%, then something is definitely wrong.
The 20-80 or the 10-90 is one method of protecting your battery (do not drain below 10-20% and do not full charge past 80-90% as the battery is unstable when exposed to those charges for longer periods of time)
Try going to samsung members. On the home page, you'll see diagnostics.
(Or go to device care, scroll down and you'll see diagnostics or go to samsung members support page and find it there)
Tbh, low-end models don't get much care and inspection compared to mid-high end ones. So bad batches do get mixed in more often. In the end, we end up doing the inspection ourselves.
If it persists, try searching the battery problem online as various forums such as r/samsunggalaxy have solutions or YT with visual guides.
Even other models and phones suffer from this problem, and it might help you
If it still happens, try the last option... factory reset. (ONLY DO THIS when you've run out of options as some have never recovered when they did that)
If it still happens, then yeah... you have a bad apple on your hands.
(Or they might have given you a stock demo model, if you bought it physically. if online, then it might've been rattled during transport)
