A) First, ensure that your device is up-to-date with the latest Software updates.

Settings > About Phone > Software Updates > Download and Install > Follow On-screen notifications.

B) Ensure that you have back-up your data through micro SD Card and/or in Samsung Cloud.

C) Disable & Uninstall an App as Device Admin.

  • Select the app.
  • Disable or Uninstall.
  • Follow on-screen messages.

D)  Factory reset via the Settings menu.

  • Go to the phone's Settings.
  • Select General Management.
  • Select Reset.
  • Select Reset Factory Data.
  • Select Reset to restore your phone to its original Factory settings.

Go to Settings > Biometrics and security > Other security settings > Device admin apps. Deactivate them and uninstall them.

Do you use an app that has been enabled as Device Admin? Usually company/work related apps. Have them disable or uninstall and restart your device and try again?
