Does samsung galaxy a50 have camera food mode? How to open it ?

Food Mode on Samsung A50 isn't available on Camera. Depending on samsung models.

The Camera modes are:
▪︎LIVE FOCUS
 Tap an object less than 20 inches away to focus on it then tap the Camera button to take a picture.
▪︎PHOTO
▪︎VIDEO
- MORE
▪︎BIXBY VISION
▪︎AR EMOJI
▪︎PRO
▪︎PANORAMA
▪︎NIGHT
▪︎SUPER SLO-MO
▪︎SLOW MOTION
▪︎HYPERLAPSE

go to your camera app. By default it is tucked inside the More option...

but if your phone doesn't have that option then turning on scene optimizer should help you take better food using AI auto adjust functionality
