My phone had been totally fine all these while for 1 year and 10 months. After updated my A53 to the latest One UI 6.1 update mid of Jun 2024, the same night my phone started to randomly restartingvery frequently until the extend that it cannot be used at all.
Tried all sorts of standard troubleshooting but same problem still exist. Found many others faced similar issue online.
I have tried:
Soft reset by pressing power button + volume down
Clearing partition cache
Reset all settings
Safe mode
Off phone wait 10min and on back
Turning off auto restart
Factory data reset
Sent multiple error reports via Members app.
In the end, I found that every time when i turn on the location service and run any location required app such as google map, the phone will hang and restart.
I was told by customer service to visit samsung service center to get my phone checked which will waste my effort, time and trouble of not able to use my phone. I believe when I go to the service center, I will be told that it is my phone's hardware issue and need to get the motherboard replaced at a cost to me or some sort.
Hence, I decided to say goodbye to Samsung and all of its products. Samsung update had obviously broken my phone and now I'm forced to quickly buy a new one as Samsung couldn't provide an update to fix this issue after half a month time.
My a63 had problem auto start n shut n cannot do anything. Left it on whole night n next it is okay but do not off or battery die off the auto start n off will start n cannot use. Samsung service no use short cut change motherboard rm1000. They are not helping. It is like all of have the software update problem Find way delete the update n use software before update
Update: My friend with exact same phone Samsung A53 is stuck on booting screen restarting non-stop after updating the phone. But Samsung is not admitting their issue!
