Galaxy ABefore you try out below recommendations as to your solutions, be sure to check if your device's software and related apps are updated with latest version. Please check how to update your mobile device's software in following order.
Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.
Step 2. Tap on Download and install.
Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Here are several fixes you can try if your phone's screen is flickering.
Restarting the device is often the quickest and easiest way to resolve software issues.
1. Hold down the Volume Down Key and the Power Button simultaneously for 7 seconds.
2. Your device will restart and display the Samsung logo.
Booting your smartphone in safe mode is also another option to find out if the screen still flickers or not. Safe mode is like a diagnostic tool to help identify the problems on your device.
1.Turn off your device then power on.
2.When the Samsung logo appears by itself, press and hold the Volume down key.
3.The device will switch on in Safe mode. Safe mode will be displayed on the bottom left of the screen.
If the issue is gone in Safe mode: One of your recently downloaded apps was likely the cause of the problem.
If the issue still exists: Downloaded apps may not be the cause of the problem. You may need to reset the phone or tablet to the factory setting.
To exit safe mode, restart your device
If your screen is still flickering after doing these solutions, have your phone checked at the nearest Service Center near you, or call the hotline #GALAXY to voice out your concerns.
