Anybody experiencing loud static noise when inserting usb c to 3.5mm headphone adapter on a54 5g? I'm not a fan of wireless headset so I use dongle. The static noise is random and not all the time when connected to dongle. Recently purchased a54 5g.

Update:
I used the dongle on my other phone and it didn't have a problem. It seems that it is not advisable to use dongle on a54 5g or at least on my unit. I have no issues on charging though, just the dongle. Maybe bcoz this phone is 25w fast charger capable? not an expert but it's definitely the a 54 5g that's causing the static noise when connected to usb c to 3.5mm adapter.

That's weird, I agree.

It's not the fast charging capability that's causing the issue, but my best guess is that your USB-C port might be faulty.

You could book an appointment through your Samsung Members app at a Samsung Service Center near you to get it checked.

same here, I tested the earphone with s21 plus and a54, and i thought the earphone is broken then i got another one, after 1 day it also starts giving static noise, I tested on 3 galaxy devices, i don't understand what is the problem. maybe galaxy devices don't like earphones other that samsung's original one, or my earphones quality is very bad, i will try it on another phones like Xiomi as soon as I get the chance.

I encountered the same issue; I don't use a USB-C to 3.5mm jack adapter, this sudden appearance of static noise disrupts the normal audio after a brief period.

I have been having static on my A54, but using my AKG Bluetooth option (I don't have the dongle yet). But I have a volume boosting app, and when I used it...no static. It seems to filter it completely. When my dongle arrives I'll try it wired up too.

What is the volume boosting app you use?

We have the same issue on an A54. We tried with an adapter like you and also with other headphones that are USB-C like Google's. All headphones have no issues in other devices, just on the A54. Samsung has to fix this, it's on their end.
