Subtitle Font Size on Samsung Video and Netflix

Hi! Is there a way to reduce the size of the closed captions both on Netflix and Samsung's Video Player? I don't knowhow it changed, but the smallest size of the fonts now are larger than it used to be. Thanks.

While watching a video tap the CC at the upper right panel>>More settings>>Tex size.

hi, thanks for your help but that is the first action that i did with regards to the problem. i was just wondering if there are still other ways to you know, minimize the text even more, since the "small" option is still a bit big.

If that's the case, you should rather adjust the distance of your phone while watching. What device are using by the way? Is it a regular galaxy phone or a Tab?

If the font on your Galaxy phone is too small to read, you can change the size and style on your phone. You can even customize the display with additional downloadable fonts. Refer to the guide below to change your font settings.

Before you try the recommendations below, be sure to check if your device's software and related apps are updated to the latest version. To update your mobile device's software, follow these steps:

Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.

Step 2. Tap on Download and install.

Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Customize your font size and style.

You can pick a font size or style that works for you. Make the font appear small, big, or make it bold. To change your font size or style, follow the steps below.

Step 1. Launch the Settings app, and then select Display.

Step 2. Select Font size and style.

Step 3. Here you can adjust the options as desired.

• Change the Font size by dragging the slider left or right.
• Tap the switch next to Bold font to make the font appear bolder.
• Tap Font style to change the current font or download a new font.

Change the appearance of subtitles and closed caption in Netflix.

From the Netflix app home screen, tap the profile icon or Menu ; Tap Manage Profiles ; Tap Subtitle Appearance ; To reset, tap Restore Default Settings .

thanks for this. i've done this already, however, the "small" option still looks larger than my preference of small. i hope this will reach out samsung, so they can maybe fix the app on their next update. response appreciatex! thanks again.
