Galaxy AHello BaobeiNilyang,
Thanks for your inquiry here about how to reduce the system stored on your Samsung Galaxy A53 5G in order to save some space.
Really understand your situation right now, trying to manage your device storage space ready for that moment to be stored anytime without worry of running of much needed storage space.
But don't worry, we are here to help, guide, provide quick fix and offer solutions to your device's problems.
A) First, ensure that your device is up-to-date with the latest Software updates.
Settings > About Phone > Software Updates > Download and Install > Follow On-screen instructions.
B) Back-up your Samsung Galaxy device.
Creating a backup of your smartphone data keeps you safe, just in case the worst happens. Making backups and restoring your data from a backup is made easy with a Samsung account, Google account or with the Smart Switch app. You can even set your smartphone to create backups automatically, ensuring that your data is secure around the clock. You can use MicroSD as well to back-up your important files.
All of your apps and files are saved to the internal storage of your device unless you're using an SD card. If you find that you are running out of storage space, Battery and device care can show you if you have any duplicate files, large files or unused files to help you free up some space.
C) Check what's using your Samsung Galaxy device storage space.
Step 1. Go to Battery and device care.
Step 2. Tap Storage.
Step 3. The data stored on your device will be shown separated into different categories.
Step 4. Tap the data type you would like to see in more detail.
Step 5. If you can see any files that you no longer need, press and hold them down to select them, then tap Delete.
D) Clear Cache Partition.
Step 1. Turn off your phone.
Step 2. Plug in the USB cable via PC or Type-C earphones (in case its USB-C to USB-C).
Step 3. Then press and hold Power and Volume up buttons.
Step 4. Release the power button. When the recovery screen shows up, release the volume up button.
Step 5. Navigate to and select Wipe cache partition (Volume up and down is for highlighting options and power is to select).
