For 400 dollars, it doesn't even support hdr. Samsung doesn't even tell that it doesn't even supported by this phone. Even some competitors already has hdr10+ for the same price. Is it even possibe to have hdr support in this phone in the future updates? If so, please include it because I just buy this phone for this price.🤷🤷🤷

Hello MineCold2418,

Thanks for letting us know your comments and suggestions to have the HDR10+ display technology on the latest Samsung Galaxy A34, which currently has the Super AMOLED at 120 Hz.

High Dynamic Range, better known as HDR, is a standard that helps with color reproduction on displays. HDR10+ is a step up and helps increase color range and dynamic brightness.

HDR10+ is a special technology that adds dynamic metadata to the phone’s camera. Simply put, this technology can change the camera’s settings based on the content on the screen and optimizes each frame. This will give your videos more detail and a larger range of color. In fact, HDR10+ can give you over a billion shades of color.

However, HDR10+ displays are currently available only on select Samsung flagship S Series phones.

But you will be glad that in comparison with its predecessor, Samsung Galaxy A33 5G, below are some notable differences of the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G.

1) Chipset : Mediatek MT6877V Dimensity 1080 (6 nm)

2) GPU : Mali-CGE MC4

3) Display : Super AMOLED, 120Hz

We are taking note of your suggestion as a challenge when meeting with our satisfied Samsung Galaxy users to fully enhance their overall experience.

Thanks for your suggestions and appreciate the time and effort you put in to share your valuable comments. This helps us improve our products, apps, and services towards enhancing the Samsung Galaxy experience for all.

I understand that this feature is only for flagship phones but why does my phone doesn't have hdr support like other many phones. Even they have hdr10 but my phone doesn't.

Hey! 👋 I think you have a really good point about this thing. However, you should've checked the device's specifications before buying it and going here complaining about that particular feature. Many phones doesn't have Samsung's features and there are many Samsung phones that doesn't support other brands' features. If you really think HDR10+ is a big deal breaker for you, then try buying other phones and use the A34 as a trade-in.

Yeah, I agree with that. But please know that Samsung changed their style of capturing customers, so I don't think many people would even care about the HDR support. Personally, if my device has a sAMOLED and 90Hz refresh rate and above, I am good with it. I also don't think that many of Galaxy users now, especially those who own A series phones, does care about it. Pretty bizarre encountering someone like you about it.

But still I thought that this phone can support hdr content because I read the specification of the new Mediatek Dimensity 1080 chipset that it does support hdr10 content (hdr10+ for flagship phones only as you mention) but my phone doesn't and mostly all samsung phone specifications doesn't even mention it in their website that it does or it doesn't support it. Btw I'm a tech enthusiast you know.😅😅😅

As a tech enthusiast, you should know it is up to the manufacturer if they will add that specification a feature, not just because the processor supports it. My processor can support 108MP main camera yet I do not complain about it not having one.
