Why is the 60Hz display on the Samsung A73 a bit **bleep**?

I've been using the 120Hz for quite some time, but it eats up so much juice. I decided to switch to a 60hz display, and it's not good.

Does anyone of you feel the same about the 60hz display?

Hey Dulcechew,

If I may, I think your eyes are just missing the smoothness of the 120Hz refresh rate!

There really is a world of difference between 60Hz and 120Hz, and that's probably why you think the 60Hz refresh rate looks worse.

However, that is the trade-off for having better, smoother animations on your screen: it will eat up more of your battery life! Think of it as your screen working twice as hard to make sure things are smooth on the display.

But the great thing about that is that you have a choice! For example, I use 60Hz on my A73 whenever I'm out and need that extra battery power, but I switch back to 120Hz when I'm at home and near a charging station.

Hope this helps! If you liked this answer, make sure to tap Accept as Solution down below 👇

Maybe your eyes got used seeing 120Hz smoothness like TeamGalaxyDD said. It will take some time but you'll get used to it again, scrolling at 60Hz

I was once from a phone with 90hz, then switching to 60hz will look like the animation's lag'ish... then I am here now at 120hz... switching to 60hz is now a nightmare and 90hz is a bit lag'ish...
