Trying to wipe cache partition for my A52 5g. However holding down the volume up + power button gives me a korean menu instead of the usual command menu.

It seems the device is detecting you're trying to install a custom rom?
BTW this also works using a usb-C earphones, if you have one try that instead of connecting to your PC1694914718196_1694914718184_0.jpg

you know it is just curious that Samsung support seems to have not a slightest idea on topics or issues involving Samsung phones or are unfamiliar with the systems. Your templated responses do not help. I get better responses and helpful tips from users than you people who are being paid by Samsung to support us. Sorry to say and I know it will be out place to say since I am not the one paying your salaries. I just feel so sorry for Samsung to waste their money on a Customer Service system that allows templated responses to be used which do not help anyone.

Hello MidoriSora,

I feel you and understand where your frustration is coming from and I apologize for the contact details template I gave you which was inconvenient to you at this time. Is your device a Korean variant? and can we ask the model code please?

Moreover, you may find below steps on how to clear cache partition your device.

Clear Cache Partition.

Step 1. Turn off your phone.

Step 2. Plug in the USB cable via PC or Type-C earphones (in case its USB-C to USB-C).

Step 3. Then press and hold Power and Volume up buttons.

Step 4. Release the power button. When the recovery screen shows up, release the volume up button.

Step 5. Navigate to and select Wipe cache partition (Volume up and down is for highlighting options and power is to select).

Step 6. Navigate to and select Yes.

Step 7. Press the power button to select Reboot system now.

Let me know how it goes. I will be here.

Seems like you're accidentally holding both volume up and volume down buttons, which led you to Download mode. Try it again but completely turn off your device, then plug the phone in and boot to recovery by using the usual combination (vol up + power)
