My 5 years J7+ has a chanrging problem until I replugged it many times now up to 30 times which not also time consuming, it can be dangerous to battery which can be lower its lifespan. I know how can I determined if the charging is slow. There's an 100% accurate ampere app which I noticed the MA is low sometimes and I tested it is still slow, and as I replugging many times, the MA is high now which I noticed it charged well.... I know this app since 2019.
Also I have no other draining app even my phone is turned off.
Then it happebs many times since 2019 also but sometimes the issue didn't happen sometimes. I used also android charger since my official charger of it is broken. Also the port was clean too. What possible happen? Does my phone batyery has been choosing some usb cable? My adaptor is also samsung.

You should try the official cable from Samsung. In the past, we tried unofficial cable and phone doesn't charge well. If you can buy an authentic Samsung cable, that's better. I noticed also that the charging time is real and better. By the way, our j7 is as old as yours. 5 years

Try to charge with a different cable, if it still does not charge properly then try with a different adaptor. You can also try to use your cable and adaptor if it can properly charge other devices to see if its really working or not.

Hello Rendellsibal,

Thanks for letting us know here your difficulties while trying to figure out what's behind the charging issues of your beloved Samsung Galaxy J7+. I know how it feels given that I had memorable fast-draining battery experience with my previous Samsung Galaxy device and it's really frustrating. Fast-forward, I currently have a Samsung Galaxy A22 5G, without having much trouble using it except for the physical cracked tempered glass due to bump and accidental phone drop which I can practically replace it.

But in your case, I recommend bringing it to the nearest Samsung Authorized Service Center in your area in order to have it checked by our team of Samsung experts.

Hi Rendellsibal,

I think you're right, it might be an issue with your USB cable.

If you can't purchase an official Samsung USB cable, I've personally had good experiences with Bavin cords, although they do fail if treated roughly (which I tend to do 😅)

You can check samsung.com for stocks, or visit a Samsung store to get one 😄
