Galaxy Note
Samsung being a leader in smartphone should be able to provide built in app lock for apps.

Galaxy Note
secure folder creates an app inside its on environment. this is good for security hence the name.
most users prefer to just lock the app on main app drawer as it is easier to access. maybe just trying to avoid their kids from sending unnecessary **bleep**s on whatsapp etc. but if u want to also hide said app, then secure folder is a very good go.
for better security, I'm subscribing on Kaspersky Anti Virus. Tried them for free when bought phones from Direct D (I'm sure most Malaysian familiar with this) and just renewed the subscription because I actually trust the app. It didn't caused my Note 9 to lagged and it actually gave me warnings wayyy before Samsung's Device Care did. So I believed it actually works! The antivirus features app lock as well and I'm currently using it for some apps that didn't have pin/fingerprint access built-in.
what I'm trying to say here is, if u really need the feature, you can try third party app lock. there are vast selections in play store. hope there's one that really meet your needs.
cheers!
