Just notice on my samsung note 20 ultra 5G after updating to android 13 couldnt access battery status via code above, it can access in android 12 before.. also recovery mode by pressing vol up + power button couldnt access either.. in android 12 i had to connect type c handfree in order to access the recovery..

you can check your battery status under the "Support" section in Samsung Members.

I'm using the same model as you are but I can still access recovery mode using the volume up button + power button + type C hands free after the latest update.
