Hello, everyone.😊 I would like to ask for your opinion. When should I charge my phone when my battery drop into certain level? For example, I've read in Google that we are recommended to charge it when the battery is about 30%. Is it true?

Personally, I follow the 20/80 rule, which states that the charger should be connected and unplugged when the battery level is 20% and 80%, respectively.

Since we have the 'Protect battery' feature as shown in the picture, so ya.

But all in all, if you want to do a full charge on your device and use it until 0% sometimes, it's okay to do that. There's a reason why it's there hahaScreenshot_20220424-144346_Device care.jpg

for my opinion..its up to ur style of working and how often u use ur phone..if use for heavy work and need to standby for any case...just keep charged ur phone while u free....back to scale term of charging...im afraid if battery in 20% then suddenly u need to use in heavy work and by that time..there is no power bank or power plug....will be a problem..

I followed my own radical style, which I've been using it since maybe 2010 ( first IP ). For Samsung device, I've used it on my S6+ since 2015, and still for my Note 10 and S22 Ultra. Happy to share, my S6+ is still with original battery. Yes there's drop in batt performance but I could still have a day with a full charge. Not to mention, same style has been applied to my wife's earlier Iphone 6 ( 2015 ) and her current daily driver IP11. IP6 is still using its original battery and is being used by my son now.
My style is,I only charge when the battery is below 10% and will charge it till full. No unplug and plug back in between. If there's a need to unplug during charging process, let say while at 70%, I will only charge back when battery capacity is below 10%.
Possibly worth to mention that I did a test on my office phone by charging whenever I feel I want to and unplug on the same, the battery could last less than 2 years. I have to replace the battery after the phone only can last less than half day for a full charge.

Yes, am happy with my current charging style. ( and my wifey too 😉)
