i recently updated my GALAXY NOTE 20 ULTRA ... and posted the fact that i experienced the green line issue, i could see i am not alone within the community, UNFORTUNATELY, SAMSUNG is not taking action nor giving a response on the issues.
i am for sure contemplating changing the phone, BUT again !! ... i am extremely concerned if my next phone will face the same issue, it's going to be immediate devaluation onto the device as the screen made up almost half the price of the device itself !! ..
SAMSUNG, i really hope you could check the community messages on this issue, do something about it ... ignorant doesn't seems to fit into the corporate culture and identify ...
Whoever can read Chinese... the above from ChinaPress article.. Singapore has recently reported surge of such incidents ... not sure if that would change the perspective of the defect claim ...
same. 1 line appeared after June 2023 update.. then 2nd line in Aug 2023, then 3rd line Nov 2023.. went to Samsung service centre to enquire about screen replacement, they quoted me RM1119 with 3 months warranty, but the issue could happen again. This Note 20 Ultra is my 1st Samsung flagship, and i dont think i will purchase another Samsung hp after this one goes kaput.. When i asked why Samsung MY doesnt provide free screen replacement for N20U like other countries, they just said different country different practice. If you trade in on this website to get another Samsung hp, the max amount they give is RM350 because of the lines on display issue. Bad after sales service lah Samsung.
How did u manage to read your phone with 3line? I got the green line too after update software last week. It appear 1 line..but today already add 1more line. Total its two.. red flag for samsung.. i was planning to get at least s23ultra or s24 ultra. Due to this issue.. make me think twise.. if they dont resolve my issue. We all.
