How to Factory Reset my Note 8 - Gues error all the time

I have a new G22 so want to give my old Note 8 to my wife.

I want to reset it totally so she can place her sim in from her current Motorola and transfer all her info.

I keep getting the message I cannot perform this as I am a guest user.

I have removed all my accounts, Google, Samsung etc but still get this message.  I have spent hours trying everything I see on the web.

Please tell me how to do it?  I have all my passwords etc.

Settings > General Management > Reset phone

Mayhe u have to reset them via the firmware access ... u know the trick of home button + volume down + power button simultaneously? ... I remember there's a reset option to wipe out and reset to factory

Google in youtube for how to enter recovery mode. Use that mode to factory reset.
