Latest update One UI 2.5 has recent apps in Edge Panels, can I get rid of it?

How do I get rid of the "recently opened apps" part of the edge panel for the new software update?

I don't need it because I can always tap on my recent apps button below.

Tap 🖍 at the edge panel bottom > tap settings 'triple dots' (🍔) right above the panel side > slide unable the recent apps panel..🤣😅
