Does anyone facing this issue?
 out of sudden today when I turn on my phone there Is a thin vertical line in the middle of my display

same with me I got the green line yesterday out of nowhere and I'm not really using my phone as it's the weekend.

Unlike s20 user that got the foc replacement.
As a note 20 user that unable get the foc replacement while keeping this existing vertical line display. We are just helping samsung to advertise their faulty display.😂

Yea. Mine almost exactly at the middle. It appeares suddenly. And i used  my phone very delicately. Condition are like new.. but suddenly the bright green line appear our of nowhere last few days.

Never had issue with phone screen on mu whole life. Especially like this one. Seems like its a manufacturing defect which just appearing.

Galaxy s20 are pretty obvious and i guess samsung note 20 ultra are geting the same £@£@%!

My 100 dollar redmi phone which i used for 3 year having no proble. At all. This is really annoying samsung.

Samsung should be honest and responsible and recall or offer free replacement.

Mine also having the same problem after patches update. Next day. Geeen line appear. Samsung note20 ultra

Today I sent my Samsung note to bedok mail . They also say no for Samsung note20 ultra. S20 series all get free lcd replacement. Don't know why like that. Clearly after patch. .become like this

I hope Bedon mail service center submit my case to support level to review my samsung note20 ultra which have a green line 😀

From SG here, I witness the issue happening right before my own eyes.

Firmware upgrade successful applied 14:28 5 feb 2023, post firmware upgrade reset; green vertical line appeared.

Chat with C.S at Samsung members app and was given a standard basic trouble shooting guide which does not help. Then i was informed to best bring my Note 20 Ultra to service center and as a SOP i was reminded; out of warranty devices could be charged for consultation and LCD replacement will cost me. *why am i not surprised?*

Seems like majority of the Note 20 Ultra cases came just after the gap of S20 series release, aka around 6 months (ish). My guess it is likely a similar issue that S20 series and also a wide spread issue.

I have been with Samsung Note Series since Note 3, this is indeed depressing and disappointing as my Note 20 Ultra has seen low use mileage since purchase and well keep and maintained. I rarely even game on it, only telegram and whatsapp; which even are low usage since i prefer to use these apps on PC as i work from home.

Visited Plaza Sing's service center yesterday 6 Feb 2023 regarding my Note 20 Ultra's green line issue.

Service center agent gave a scripted company policy reply; no warranty, there is no official announcement of such issue, the internet and community feedback is not sufficient to ask for an exception.

As that seems to be the limit on how the service agent can assist, i proceed to ask about formal assistance.

1. Checking the phone (OOW) will cost around SGD $30+, where they will identify if the issue is hardware or software; upon asking how does that help me, i was greeted by a awkward silence (not that i am optimistic, if they are able to identify or acknowledge it as a firmware induced induced issue)

2. Straight to LCD replacement; near SGD $400; 3 to 4 working days. No loan set so prepare a spare phone if going for it. This option is as good as sucking it up and accepting it is user's fault or wear and tear luck.

Both options are not acceptable to me and the agent could not do anything more for me. So i enquire how i could bring this issue up; i was advised to write in to their Samsung CEO email. With a disappointed heart, i left the service center.

It is at this point i questioned why i paid a SGD $1800+ premium for Note 20 Ultra...
