Galaxy S
i took this phone from my grandpa since he wasn't using it anymore. i know it's too old to be used nowadays, but i want to restore and have it for fun/collection.

yes, this is a Galaxy S Duos (GT-S7562) from 2012.
when plugged in, however, it shows this sign instead of charging. does it mean that i have to replace its battery?

Woah, that's legendary. Maybe because its battery has been exposed to the elements for a long time. Or there might be mechanical malfunctions in the internals.
The oldest Samsung device I owned was the Galaxy J7 2016, and it's dead now, buttons gone, and LCD also bid goodbye.
