Apps like Youtube Music stops playing

Hello Support and Community,

I was wondering if there is a fix on certain apps like Youtube Music that keeps on stopping when my screen is locked even if the app was already part of the apps that never sleeps. My phone is Samsung S23 ultra. 

Thoughts?

Hi! Maybe It's not because of your device. It's because YouTube
music doesn't allow playback while screen off.
It's only a premium feature, provided by YouTube.
Playback feature while screen off is only available for
premium subscriptions.
You can try premium subscription for YouTube music
or you can switch to other music apps.

i suggest use youtube revanced. no ads and play in background

Youtube does not allow playback playing unless you pay for premium, try samsung browser

i believe i found the issue. Duckduckgo has this application blocker and it is blocking youtube music. all good now and thank you all for the wonderful insights and recommendations :)
