Apps not in full screen after UI 5.0 Upgrade

Is this the new UI that makes the apps not in full screen mode ? Is there anyway to make all the apps in full screen mode ?

I did find the hidden sub menu there, but when I put app like YouTube saying hide or show camera cutout still doesn't work..

So I'm confused, the menu is still accessible but it doesn't work.

This is not correct. This is only so you can make the screen cutout below while you do other things

It is black vertical bar on both sides of all the apps after UI 5.0 upgrade.

I found the solution to make all the apps full screen by going to setting, developer option, simulate display with cutout, choose default.
