I have upgraded from S22 to S23 Ultra, the colours on S23 Ultra feels like it is washed out and pale. I have searched for this and it looks like that Samsung is now following what Pixel and IPhone are doing to their screens. By that I mean the colours look more "natural" as they say and less saturated and the Vivid doesn't look like the Vivid that we knew. I don't know about this but for me I prefer the saturated colours. Hope they make it as an option to turn it on or off.

For those who have S23 Ultra. Have you noticed this? Do colours feel like washed out in your phone? Which screen mode are you using natural or Vivid?

Probably it's your phone display setting. You may have set vivid option in your previous device which you can do in this one too under 'display'. Another option is to use filters in the camera setting prior to snapping pictures.

Yeah i know and currently running it on Vivid with the same settings as the previous phone. Just to update you, i have tested what I said above with my S10+ phone just now and yeah it is true that the colours are washed out in the S23 Ultra and the two of them are Vivid with the samw white balance. Look at these topics from reddit and xda.

All of them agree that the colours are slightly washed out comparing it to older versions of Samsung phones. You can see this picture as well focus on the blue colour at the top and you will see it slightly washed out and not saturated.
