Did anyone noticed a grainy effect on the background after updating to One UI 3.1? What I've noticed is that there is somewhat like of a film grain on the background or when I watch YouTube. Even in settings. Only visible when dark mode is on or there is a black background. Black is not black anymore.

Good day! Is there anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Just wanna add, took my phone for a quick test of the camera and the photos looks a bit washed out, then I just discovered that every time I refresh the adaptive brightness it increases the brightness of the screen instead of lowering it down. Even I'm inside my room with the lights off. And there's like a very light yellowish tint everywhere. Somewhat like the display color is a bit warm even the slider is in the middle or the Eye Comfort Shield is off.

Yes, having this also especially in Netflix films. I have a great internet speed and using FHD+ as the screen resolution. As far as I have observed, it's present in apps that we use to watch something (YouTube, Netflix, etc.) and in some photos as well. It's only visible if it's a pitch black color space or black.

Yes, I agree. It is present if it's pitch back color space. I hope samsung will be able to release a new update to fix this issue.

It could be a hardware issue. I'm not really sure. It's also updated to the latest One UI and it's still the same but I'm not experiencing it on my N20U

Sorry friend I don't know how. I think better have it checked at a Samsung authorized service center.

It's a software issue, because it's also captured in your screenshot, if it's a hardware issue it wouldn't include the grainy thing in your screenshot
