Hi LeoJo07,

The green line issue indicates a hardware problem that needs to be replaced. It's very unlikely that an update caused this - if it did, an even larger portion of users should also be affected, which isn't the case.

Please bring your device to your nearest Samsung Service Center for diagnosis and repair. Refer to this guide for the cost: https://www.samsung.com/ph/support/mobile-screen-replacement-pricing/ *Prices are recommended retail prices and may differ between Service Centers.

Why not acknowledge the recent update's faults? Offer a complimentary or discounted fix and users will be happy.

When updating the software on your device, it is possible that your device may become hot. Additionally, there is a risk that the flex connection between the display screen and the main board may be cut, causing a single line to appear on your screen. If you notice this issue, it is possible that your screen may be damaged. If your device is out of warranty, repairing the damage may be costly. However, if you have enrolled in Samsung Care Plus insurance, you can file a claim to help cover the costs of repair.

You could also try visiting the nearest Samsung service center and let the technician check the root cause.
