Galaxy SMy S22+ recently developed the famous green line issue without having any physical impact. Today I took it to Samsung Service Centre and was told that I would have to pay $200+ for screen replacement. Meanwhile, my Note20 Ultra experienced the same issue earlier this year and was replaced for free, despite being out of warranty.
Samsung, please look into this. This is not an issue coming from the user, so why are we being forced to pay for its repair?

Galaxy SMy Note20 Ultra was repaired in May this year. Checking the community, it seems that Samsung is only covering replacements for the S22 Ultra due to the sheer volume of similar issues.
Regardless, I find it very unfair and unacceptable for Samsung to charge for this issue when the fault is not even due to user error.

Galaxy SI received call from Customer Support today and was told the same response as the Service Centre staff (means I have to pay $200+ for the screen replacement plus the labour charge as my phone is no longer under warranty).
Please highlight to the company that this is such a big disappointment. I don't expect to pay a high price for a luxury phone, which can then only last for 1 year and afterwards requires user to continue paying for repairment from issue which is not even caused by them...
