Galaxy SOriginal Samsung charger fused as well. Verified by heading to a Samsung shop. I'm very surprised as my previous chargers from Huawei and Vivo are still going strong.
I called in to hotline and was told that there is no case to be logged (no reference number to provide me) and asked me to head to a service centre ( to quote just my mobile number)
I read online that walking straight into a service centre will warrant a hefty service fee. I feel very shocked to be caught in such situation. I bought Samsung as my friends gave me raved reviews.
This issue has surfaced since 2023 where Straits Times reported on it. Could Samsung acknowledge this issue from hardware/software and provide us a free replacement outright? Regardless of our warranty status?
