Galaxy SHi Mon-Sur,
I've used external microphones to record audio with my Galaxy device before, and from my experience, the audio quality is only as good as its post processing, the recording location, and the type of microphone you used.
On my end, I was using a Samson Go condenser attached via USB-C to A OTG. I was working in a room with a lot of echo so I had to post-process everything with Audacity to get it sounding decent. Keep in mind, I had to use a pop filter and a DIY windscreen (it was a sock!) to help improve the recording quality.
Would you mind posting a sample of the audio so we can see what the output was?

Galaxy SThat would be NOT ideal as the soundcard would utilize the microphone on the S22 Ultra which is tiny and at the bottom of the phone. If you really want to do it then you should point the bottom part of the phone to your mouth and see if it helps. But it is much better if you use a dedicated mic - probably a condenser microphone to improve your audio using the sound card and not a phone.
NOW. For the normal use of the S22 Ultra on the sound card you should try this setup.
1) S22 Ultra as the Video Recorder
Microphone -> Condenser Mic input on your V8
Headset -> Earphone speaker input on your V8
S22 Ultra -> USB C to 3.5mm converter -> 3.5mm jack to micro USB jack -> LIVE1 input on your V8
2) You can also use the S22 ultra to play background music by putting it in the "Accompany Instrument" slot instead of the "LIVE1" slot on on option 1.
Hope this helps.
