Huge disgust on these AI features that are about to be subscription based

It's really disgusting and "money motivated". Imagine paying for an S or Z phone thats worth at least 80000 PHP to 100,000 PHP depending on the variant only to find out you're gonna pay for the AI features monthly? imagine this, if it goes at around 500-600 monthly on top of that 12% E-VAT? that's an excess to the amount you paid for the phone. Annually, you're going to spend at around 6,720 PHP to 8,064 PHP. THAT IS A LOT SAMSUNG.

++ Some people may buy Samsung not because of its zoom camera but the crazy capabilities of its AI. They'll be greatly disappointed. Why not improve on marketing instead other than charging people something that should be built in or "native" on the phone?

From the sources I've read on Google and one video from Mr.Whosetheboss, states that the Galaxy AI will be free till the end of 2025. So, it's a bummer regardless of it being a rumour or a fact.

Ah! I thought Samsung had officially released articles about it. That's the good thing about competition; other brands are offering it for free or bundled with the device, which will impact Samsung's decision-making. All I can say for now is don't worry about it, as it will surely change depending on how the market reacts to the upcoming AI features from other brands.

Thanks for considering my extreme disappointment with the rumours I've heard! Hopefully, it'll change if Apple or other brands offer it for free (I know Apple won't, but we'll see.)

There were posts enumerating the specific AI features that could be subscription based. I don't use much of it yet.
