Galaxy S
I use Discord on the daily and it's second nature to swipe from the sides to navigate, but with the phone's nav bar, I end up closing Discord because the app gestures and phone gestures conflict with each other. I don't see it necessary to have the side gestures (back and forward gestures) to occupy the entire sides of the screen. Please give me an option to adjust.
Thank you

Galaxy SHello Ayo-wassup,
Thanks for reaching out to us here in order to have the option to adjust the gestures on your well-loved Samsung Galaxy phone while navigating your frequent apps.
Before you try out the recommendations below, be sure to check if your device's software and related apps are updated to the latest version. To update your mobile device's software, follow these steps:
Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.
Step 2. Tap on Download and install.
Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 4. Restart your device.
You can use the features below that suit your needs and preferences.
Set up motions and gestures.
- Go to your device Settings and select Advanced features > Motions and gestures.
- Toggle on Keep screen on while viewing to make sure that your screen never turns off abruptly while you're still using it.
- Accidental touch protection: Settings>Display and toggle on Accidental touch protection.
Use Edge Panels
- Go to your device Settings and select Display.
- Tap Edge panels and toggle it on. Once activated, you'll see a handle to control the feature on the right. Tap on it and swipe inwards to access your edge panel.
- Tap Handle to customize it in terms of position, color, transparency, size, and width. You can even make the handle vibrate when touched to get haptic feedback.
- By default, you're only shown one edge panel when you activate the feature—Apps—but you can add more panels to take more actions quicker. To do that, tap Panels and select the ones most useful to you.
There are a lot of useful settings that are not enabled by default on Samsung phones. The above are the ones that seem to work the best. Enable them all and test to see if they work.
