You can see the video attached of my s22 ultra in boot loop.
started experiencing this after i downloaded the software update foe one ui 6.1 end of Jan 2025.
my phone is gone now and Samsung service centre is charging me usd 500 to change the motherboard. This is unfair Samsung!
is this an intentional move of your company to push people buy the new models?

i am not a hater, but rather i do support Samsung. But this is really bad!!! you are charging us for a bad software update!!!

I wanted to pass this phone to my mom who will be excited to use it but now it is gone due to the bad software update.

Aiyoyo, I'm praying for my S22 to stay strong, at least until 2028. 🙏

Poor us. Hopy can last until 2027, and I will also be grateful.

It is exactly happened to my S22 ultra as well, but in Sept after a week updated monthly security.
Went to a repair shop and funny thing is, after a short exposure to heated air gun, the phone managed to full boot. But again, after few minutes it went back to boot loop. The shop did suspect there's issue with the chip/ processor connection ( a well known issue for snapdragon ) and tried to remount/ resoldered but to no avail.
Ending up, bought S24 Ultra, and gave my S22 free to my friend as he had lines issue with his. So now he is using my S22Ultra with his motherboard/processor.

Didn't go to SC but to other repair shop. My friend paid RM40 for the swap, his motherboard with my display😆
On a side note, personally I think it's not the software but rather a hardware issue. Anyway, all the best my friend.
