Galaxy SLast year, Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 FE as a toned-down version of the Galaxy S20 series. This device comes in both 4G and 5G variants. Earlier this month, a new version of this smartphone appeared on WiFi Alliance. Now, this handset has been certified by yet another bureau.
Going by their model numbers, this phone will have dual-SIM support. Further, the certifications also revealed that this handset will debut with Android 11 (One UI 3.x) out of the box.
Furthermore, the device’s newly spotted NBTC certification confirms it to be a 4G smartphone. Hence, we can expect Samsung to launch this phone in the countries where 5G deployment is still a work in progress.
That said, nothing else is known about this new Galaxy S20 FE apart from the above-mentioned specifics. But we can speculate it to feature a similar design and specs but with a new SoC due to chip shortage.
