Sharing my reasons for not upgrading to One UI 7 after checking out my sister's phone (an A56).
•Firstly, the Screen Time widget occupies too much space without clearly showing which apps are currently in use.
•Secondly, the notification bar limits the display to only three notifications, and there's no option to view all of them.
•Thirdly, I dislike the lock screen app icons being displayed as "cards"; it's much preferable to see the simple icons below the clock.
•Finally, I find the older layout of the quick settings in the notification panel to be better than the new one.
These aspects are significant drawbacks for my personal preferences and how I use my phone. Therefore, it's understandable that I'm holding off on the upgrade, as I anticipate these features would negatively impact my user experience. Hopefully, Samsung will take this feedback into account for future iterations! Kamsahamnida.
1. I don't know if i'm the only one who don't get the point 😅 2. Notification shade is just a swipe away to check notification. Limiting to 3 icons make way for now bar which I think is another function space-worthy because notification icons in status bar is redundant. 3. If you're refering to lockscreen widget, you can simply remove widgets 4. You can go back using the old layout if the new one doesn't work for you providing you options which android was made for customizations.
1. You can maximize the number of your grids to occupy the entire screen and customize it without following the grid.
2 and 3. You can customize this setting with GoodLock.
Finally, I agree with this even with One Ui 6. Di ko naman kase priority ang bluetooth, hopefully it's interchangeable with other icons like mobile data.
