Note S22 Ultra White screen death

Initially i got green line on My Samsung phone S22 Ultra , after few days suddenly went to white screen and no response there after. My observation is some os update happened before, nothing else damaged the phone else their software updates. 

no way to take the the data backup also. When searched about this issue, there seems common issue at Samsung.. many are suffering... I felt cheated by Samsung, if they know this is LCD hardware issue, why dont they improve the quality. Went for support center and the charges are *** high.. around 480$. 

Samsung please help resolve the issue.. otherwise people who are reading this article be cautious in buying the Samsung product ..  seems i am the victim now, obviously suggest never ever ever ever ever buy Samsung, and pay for the service which caused by their quality issues.

i mean, you expect to trade in your S22 once S23 Pre-order show up in 2023, i am assuming you owned S22 since 2022 so yea to avoid any screen issue, S or Z users must trade in their device each year

the only good screen is M series, no report about screen issue, in A series there's A73 infected by green line issue, and a lot of A05 or A05s screen freeze issue, so if you want a good screen just grab M series but yep you must sacrifice performance and great feature such as samsung DeX

Same here, nothing can be done. Call samsung, chat with live chat agent, call samsung hotline, write to email to CEO also no use. Once your phone is out of warranty, that's it. They will say is hardware issue, and you need to pay for the replacement screen. 😡😡

Any update on this? What's the cost of repair?, do you able to salvage the data? My wife's phone got into this white screen of death last night and same, no way to access through PC to have it back up, even the remote back up won't work. The phone just literary died. And to note, the galaxy watch came with it died last August 2024. We're an avid Samsung user since the note 5 series, since we know their products are robust. But I'm thinking into shifting to other brands, we paid premium for a flagship device to have some security that it will last more than 5 years. Sorry, but Never again Samsung, all we care about now is to recover the data.
