One ui 8 removal of bootloader

What do you think about this silent dushbag move of Samsung to remove the bootloader unlock without even saying anything all to remove the little freedom of installing a custom rome to extend your phone life 

I know the anti consumer Samsung e-fuse exists it should be illegall in the first place to even have an e fuse to begin with but when it comes to Samsung phones we do not own them but we pay full price to get them into our hands then they release updates stripping features and eventually those updates even briks for performance or even your entire phone 

How is this legal? Well to begin with the very same people who write the laws are proud owners of big corprates sansung and many more big fish controls it all look at how Samsung now called scumsung lies and abuse us all even the very nature they say "we are environmental friendly" but every practice they do is anti consumer anti long life big advocates of electronic waste 🗑 🙄 

I have a s23 ultra and I expect to use it for 8 years or more but how can I if they brick it if Samsung thenself dont allow affordable right price repairs and spare parts they intentionaly inflate prices to create E-waste 

I been a Samsung consumer for 20 years now but I feel sick of thete practices and how companies get away with it to this day

it's not unlock bootloader that concern me, it's green line issue. I can live w/o unlocking bootloader, good luck deal with green line issue

i still have galaxy grand prime and already lasted 10 years or more with just android 5.0, i have replaced the battery because it's removable battery

your S23U will get up to Android 17, but nobody knows that your S23U will suffer green line or not

The issue is you say "I can live with not unlocking bootloader" you dont understand the consequences and that's way companies can get away with this its not about you living with it gone its a right its the very essence to owning your own hardware your own product without it you do not own your phone i would be fine with it if the phone cost 10 usd since its a rental not ownership of phone product you need to study on the subject to understand what they and many other are taking away from us all but then again you propably could not even say no to become a slave since "you can live with it" mentality

The issue with green lines yea right to repair but here Samsung inflate the price so mush its not worth it one more aspect of anti consumer people need to stand up not accept *** like this including bootloader freedom

bro, wake up, we never own our hardware and software, "we only buy license to use the hardware and software", all reversed to said company, in this case Android belong to Google and One UI belong to Samsung

read the end user end license agreement (EULA), in the end Google and Samsung can change whatever they wish, change completely their software they created, limit or anything

tbh i never unlock bootloader that's why my grand prime still on good old android 5.0, but if you really need bootloader so badly then you must stop updating your S23U, One UI 7 is the last for you and happy install any custom firmware you wish

Just disable auto update but if its downloaded all you can do is turn the install now dialog of every time it asks its like maleware

do you think other OS is better than this like HarmonyOS or ios? i am thinking of changing phone now
