Now delayed to end of month, due to screen displaying yellow tint discovered in Beta 3. So if S24 series is delayed, the rest of the lineup will also be delayed. This is by far the latest in recent times. Back to 3 to 4 years ago when Samsung released updates very slowly.

I understand that One UI 7 has improved a lot, but the delay has made ppl feel that what is taking so long to fix the issues when Samsung had 4 months since Oct to work on these issues and issues arose only now.

Real the delay is insane. Unbelievable such big companies can't keep on schedule

I hope with this delay in the updates, they also focus on fixes that prevent any green or pink line issues.

I thought the green lines are due to faulty cable connections or something? I heard it from some people's Samsung forums.

Tbh, no one knows the exact root cause, when none of the phone manufacturers has confirmed it. But software update could be one of the reasons causing it too as well, unless Samsung can confidently come out to say that software update is not the reason.

But if software update wouldn't all phones get it. Only most updated phones get it though so don't really know

Currently, S23 series owners are starting to experience green line issues alr. Last year was S22 series.

Yea but tbh it usually happens around the 2 yr mark. Most likely shouldn't be software issues as if that's the case green lines should appear on newer models too. And do you how to like find post easily, too much people spamming advertisements in the community post section...

Yeah, normally it happens after the warranty has ended, which now can tell that the lifespan of the OLED panel is about 2 years and that's really scary, where most people want to trade in their 2 year old devices for the latest gadgets and unable to get a good trade in price for it, due to the green line issue.

Those trollers spamming the posts cannot spell the title properly, so it's quite easy to tell that those are not legit posts meant to share with the community, ignore them and never click those links mentioned in the posts, as these links can be phishing. Once clicked, any keyboard typing on ur phone can be seen from their end. Hope that the moderators are going to implement keyword blocking for the titles, so these posts will be auto deleted once the banned keywords are detected.
