Galaxy S
I was hoping if we could raise this as a petition to Samsung to implement a native Samsung App Lock feature that allows you to enable fingerprint before opening an App. I know it may seem to be ripping off the iPhone and other Chinese brands. But it is just really better and more practical than the Secure Folder.
It's such a hassle to create a duplicate app within the Secure Folder that is unable to access your local directory.
Say I want to App Lock my "Gallery". Creating a duplicate of it within the Secure Folder makes it useless since you won't be able to access Photos. Unless you make use of it from the start.
They might say the idea has its flaws, "What's the use for requiring your fingerprint to open the App. You can just access the File Manager". Then lock the File Manager app also.
They may suggest to just download a Third-party app. Nahh, I know there are paid apps that could be useful. But why not just make it a Stock System functionality? At least Samsung may optimize for themselves.
This is also really useful to buy time if for instance someone steals your phone.
Please, Samsung.
