Galaxy SWe all find ourselves sharing our phones with friends, coworkers, and even our little ones. It's natural to have concerns about them accidentally interfering with our apps or accessing sensitive data. Sometimes, we just want our kids to enjoy some screen time on our phones without having to worry about such issues. Before handing over your phone, you can actually pin an app to the screen so that they can't close it to access other apps.
Step 1. Go to Settings > Security and privacy.
Step 2. Scroll down and find Other security settings.
Step 3. You can toggle the switch for Pin app on or tap on the text to view more settings.
Step 4. Open the app you want to pin.
Step 5. Tap on the Recents button (left-most button on bottom of screen). Or if you're using Swipe gestures, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and hold.
Step 6. Tap on the icon above the app you want to pin and select Pin this app.
To unpin the app, press and hold the Recents button and Back button at the same time.
